Establishing a LoginID and Password:
You will be asked to provide an eight character LoginID and an eight character Password in order to access
the online application. You should maintain your LoginID and Password in a secure place. If you forget your
LoginID or Password, a new account must be established. The SPB does not view or change your
LoginID/Password.
Entering Your Demographic Information:
You will be asked to enter current demographic information that
will be placed on your electronic application. You will not be required
to enter or change this information for subsequent electronic applications.
However, you should review the information prior to each submission to ensure accuracy
of the data. Any errors may cause a delay in the processing of your applicaton.
Applying For A Specific Job:
Once you have entered the demographic information, you will be directed to the Active Recruitment List
and given an opportunity to apply for various jobs. Please review the job description
to ensure that the job is indeed the one you intended to apply for and that you meet the
minimum qualifications. You should pay particular attention to the county location of the job opening.
Entering Your Work Experience:
You will be asked to tell us about your work experiences beginning with the most recent job
first. If you need additional space for experience, simply start a new work experience block
by selecting "More Experience" and continue.
Currently the system allows you to enter up to 10 separate jobs under the work experience section.
After completing the work experience section, you may enter any
special qualifications/training you might possess which relate to the job.
Reviewing And Completing The Application:
The application is now ready for your review. After you have reviewed the application, click
the SUBMIT button to signify that the applicaton is complete. You may wish to PRINT a
copy of the application prior to submission. You have the option to leave the site
or apply for another job. Your completed application(s) are available for further review until
they are processed by SPB at midnight. Incomplete application(s) are available for editing until you have
completed the process or until the recruitment period has expired, whichever comes first.
Special Note For State Employees:
State employees have the option to apply for jobs found on the Active Recruitment List or
search the classification inventory to apply for jobs not currently on recruitment.
